Annecy native, Emilie Bonaventure, after spending a number of years in the south of France, today lives and works in Paris.

Having earned an art history degree at the Ecole du Louvre, her passion for ancient, modern and contemporary objects propelled her towards the interior design and decoration worlds where she has established a strong reputation.

Thanks to her many skills, she founded the be-attitude studio in 2005 based on the idea of breaking down the barriers between Art, Architecture and Creation so they can interact together. Today scenography, design, decorative arts, contemporary art and interior design plus a passion for fashion and gastronomy define the hybrid cultural DNA of the designer and her studio.

As the decorator-scenographer and creative director for each project she undertakes,  Emilie’s transversal positioning, ability to listen to her clients and custom-made offer are all intrinsic to the final result.

The studio’s cultivated interiors and decors combine classic and contemporary art, design, vintage furniture and one-off pieces. As a collector and expert in the art market, Emilie’s shrewd eye, innate curiosity and pertinent choices establish a coherent link between the works displayed.

In parallel to the residential projects she has developed since opening her studio and to satisfy her interest in gastronomy, Emilie has collaborated with company owner-chefs over the past 10 years such as Greg Marchand*, Rose Bakery, Franck Baranger and Jean Sulpice**.

These realizations and collaborations have made her a familiar face in France’s new culinary scene.

In 2020, at the invitation of Maxime Holder, Emilie Bonaventure redefined the architectural identity of the PAUL bakeries.

The new shops redesigned by be-attitude will be visible in France and abroad over the next few months. This is a new step for the studio in the world of international, multi-faceted groups.

Be-attitude is defined by its diverse visual and creative identity, its versatility in terms of project size and the fact that it rarely repeats realizations to better translate each client’s personality. Over the years, this has become one of the studio’s identifiable signatures.
